Origen del Agua is a site in Barichara, Colombia with the goal of restoring 3 hectares of highly degraded tropical dry forest back to its original ecological function as a demonstration site for local landowners. The project has been successful through utilization of onsite water retention, low tech erosion control and adapted syntropic agriculture planting techniques. Oso Eco has been involved with the design and implementation of the project since 2021.
